1.How can I request the recruitment information?
Application guidelines for the Comprehensive Type Selection will be distributed in mid-July, and those for the Special Entrance Examination will be distributed in late August. Please refer to Admissions published by the University and the Admission Selection Guidebook to be released in July for information on how to request a copy.
You can also access Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology website and enter the required information. Requests can also be made by telemail or by sending a self-addressed envelope.
The application guidelines for the general selection will be published in late October, and those for the school recommendation selection will be published in late August. General selection and school recommendation selection have been moved to online applications, so printed materials will not be distributed.
2. If I have a disability, will you take care of me during the entrance exam or after I enroll?
We will respond individually to those who require special consideration regarding the entrance exam or their studies. Please consult with Admissions Planning Office as early as possible before applying.
3. Are there any additional passes?
Our university announces the successful applicants while considering past admission procedure rates, etc. As a rule, we do not issue additional acceptances, but depending on the admission procedure situation, additional acceptances may be made. We will announce whether or not additional acceptances have been made on website.
4. If I have the qualifications to enter a university, can I apply for any of the selection exams?
Eligibility to apply is clearly stated in the recruitment guidelines for each selection test, indicating who is eligible to apply. For example, in the school recommendation type selection, Faculty of Agriculture is open to current high school (including the upper division of special needs schools) or secondary school students, while the Faculty of Faculty of Engineering is open to current high school (including the upper division of special needs schools) or secondary school students and graduates (up to one year of retakes). Eligibility to apply for general selection is open to all those who are qualified to enter university. As such, who is eligible to apply for each recruitment unit for each selection is specified, so be sure to check the eligibility before applying.
