(Learning Objectives)

Faculty of Engineering provides students with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of science and technology in the field of engineering, specialized knowledge and techniques, as well as the liberal arts that will help them develop logical thinking skills, expressive abilities, the ability to accept diversity, and the ability to work collaboratively in order to demonstrate their expertise.
Our goal is to nurture individuals who have the expertise necessary to carve out their own path in life with autonomy, and the ability to consider and judge the various challenges facing humanity from multiple perspectives, organize their thoughts, and express them to others in a way that is easy to understand.

  1. Students should have an inquisitive mind and a creative mindset about the truths of nature, an interest in science and engineering, and the drive to use the knowledge they have acquired to think independently and cooperate and collaborate with others in order to realize a sustainable society.
  2. Those who have basic textbook-level knowledge of the major subjects and courses studied in high school, are able to solve problems, and have knowledge, insight, and skills gained from practical and experiential learning in science, mathematics, and English subjects.

 

Department of Biotechnology and Life Science

The Department of Biotechnology and Life Science covers a wide variety of academic fields in order to encompass all life-related science and technology. We aim to train international engineers and researchers who have acquired cutting-edge technical skills, logical thinking and execution abilities, and international communication skills, and who can immediately respond to the needs of all fields of biotechnology.

Department of Biomedical Engineering to develop talented individuals who can systematically study physics, electronics and information engineering, and other fields necessary for measurement and diagnostic technology in modern medicine, and who have the ability to comprehensively and deeply understand engineering technology related to medicine, biology, and medicine, and who can conduct research and development of innovative biomedical engineering technology based on flexible ideas that are not bound by traditional academic disciplines.

Furthermore, we train highly skilled global engineers who can view the entire problem as a system, break it down, and then mathematically analyze it to overview, refine, and optimize it, proposing and developing elemental technologies and systems based on fundamental principles.

Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering aims to develop innovative human resources who will realize a sustainable and smart society and pioneer the frontiers of humanity through the development and innovation of mechanical systems engineering. We promote basic education related to mechanical systems engineering in general based on mathematics and physics, and also provide specialized education that combines cutting-edge knowledge of mechanical and physical sciences and intelligent information technology, as well as interdisciplinary knowledge. We aim to train engineers who can play an active role on the world stage by demonstrating intellectual curiosity, insight and creativity, sociality and ethics, problem-solving skills, language skills and internationality.
